Unhelpful habits are usually associated with lowering stress levels or relieving boredom. Conditioned responses can be easy to acquire, but the good news is, they are simple to reverse.

Clinical research shows that on average there is a '90% reduction of the habit from just after the first 2-hour session.' This increases to a '97% reduction over the course of one month.' (Nunn & Azrin, 1977)

You will learn to become aware of the trigger situation and recognise the emotions that precede the habit so that you are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to stop it. The treatment also includes relapse prevention so that you don’t fall into bad habits a few years down the line.
