Alexandra has really helped guide me through releasing some of the negative thoughts I have been carrying around. “I have tried several yoga teachers and classes in the past, but never managed to get anywhere until I found Alex. She is so calm, so relaxed, and so easy to work with that she inspires complete confidence in a novice. She murmurs gentle encouragement that makes you feel really good, and always pays attention to what works for you as a person. She gives simple explanations from time to time, so that your understanding starts to build up as your practice increases, and becomes part of your life. It’s also really helpful to have the recording of our last practice to use by myself in between sessions. I have amazed myself by practicing most days between classes, and I am now beginning to see the connections between practice and meditation and life. Like balance, or patience, or letting go. I am learning to breathe consciously, to grow tall, to feel grounded. I wish I had learned it in my childhood as a life practice, but it’s never too late to start.

I had the best experience with Alexandra! Prior to this, I had never tried Cognitive Hypnotherapy, but was familiar with some of the concepts. Alexandra was the perfect guide for helping me uncover some stiction points in my childhood that spurred feelings of low self-esteem and self-worth in adulthood, and the hypnosis session was a wonderful exploration of how the alternative - feeling worthy - could feel, if I only allowed myself. I was not convinced about having yoga but after having a stressful year due to Covid I thought I'd give it a go. My wife seems to get a lot of benefit. Alexandra was a great find, she tailors the classes to suit my needs and doesn't make me feel pressured to do anything my body isn't able to do. She has a lovely and calming voice which alone is enough to recommend her as a teacher.
